Lots of Progress

I have been making a lot of progress on many projects this past month.  I finished a Passerine hat that I started a long time ago.  I think that it was because it wasn’t mindless, but it wasn’t hard either.  I’m happy that it’s finished expect for a pompom.  I also finished a the Random Act of Color shawl and wore it to Rhinebeck.  I even got a picture taken with the two designers of the shawl, Amy Meeks and Debbie Reece.  I even got a picture with Steven West.  While in Rhinebeck I started another Hermione Everyday sock made with Coop Yeah yarn.  It’s such a pretty, marbled, soft pink.  I bought this yarn when we went to Maine over the summer.  I’ve been working on my Featherweight cardigan and started working on the first sleeve.  I didn’t cast off the bottom yet because I want to make the ribbing in a solid color and I just haven’t found the yarn yet.  The sweater is made out of bfl and I want it all bfl.  I also finished one vanilla sock with yarn that I dyed and I love how it came out.  I know I should have casted on the match, but I cast on a sock for my daughter because she has been waiting so patiently for a pair of socks.  I bought a sock blank from Gale’s Art and it’s so her color scheme.  This is the first time that I’m using a sock blank and I really like it.

We have been busy with lots of autumn things like apple picking, carving pumpkins, and looking at the beautiful leaves changing.  This is my favorite time of year so I’m trying to soak it up!
